Abbie "Jewel" Massey, 95 of Vardaman, Mississippi passed on Monday, November 21, 2016, at Floy Dyer Manor in Houston,
Mississippi.
Born Friday, February 25, 1921 in Calhoun County, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Russ Hamby and the late
Dora Baker  Hamby. She was the wife of the late Arnie Burl Massey.
She was a devoted homemaker and loving mother.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Jim Massey of Vardaman, MS, daughter, Patsy Horn of Houston, MS; grand children; Mike Horn and wife
Bonnie, Jeff Horn, Shannon Carter  (Shawn), Angela Azpell (Tommy), Dr. Jon Massey (William), Luke Massey (Ashley), and
Julius Massey (Alice), 11 great grand children and 4 great-great grandchildren
She was predeceased by son, Jack Massey.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander
officiating. Interment will be in Elzey Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Shawn Carter, Austin Horn, Jeff Horn, Mike Horn, Dr. Jon Massey, Julius Massey, and Scott Massey
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral
