Ada Gomez

Calhoun City, MS- Ada Luz Gomez Martinez, 47, passed away, Thursday, April 4, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo after a long battle with cancer.  She was born in Honduras, July 5, 1971 to the late parents of Medardo  Gomez and Rosario Martinez Zuniga.  Ada was a homemaker and dearly loved her family. Her smile and care will be missed by everyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by a daughter, Ada Yessenia Lagos (Julio Garcia), Calhoun City; sons, Richard Cooper, Calhoun City and Eric Cooper, Calhoun City; sisters, Juana Rosa Flores Flores, Iveth Yadira Cruz Martinez all of Honduras; brothers, Eduardo, Joel Gomez, Birmingham, Samuel Gomez  Carlos Gomez, Nashville, Ever Cruz, Columbus, OH, Adner Cruz, Columbus, OH, Eliacid Cruz, Columbus, OH, Misael Cruz, Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Thiago Cesar Garcia, Joan Cristobal Garcia and Juliet Sofia Garcia.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00P.M. Graveside service will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Vardaman, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Eden Juarez Sanchez  delivering the eulogy and reading.
