Alan Wade Hawkins

Alan Wade Hawkins, 49 of Forrest City AR, passed this earthly life suddenly Monday, October 14, 2024, in Hernando, MS.  He was born December 8, 1974, in West Memphis, AR to Wade Hawkins and Norma Hawkins.

Alan was a graduate of Forrest City High School Class of 1993.  He attended and graduated from The University of Mississippi, School of Accountancy in May of 2001. He loved working in the yard and enjoying natures beauty. He was an avid Ole Miss football fan.  Alan worshiped and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Forrest City.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wade  Hawkins: grandparents, Dorothy Hawkins, Norman Raymond McKibben, and Verlon McKibben.

Those left to honor Alan’s memory are his devoted mother Norma Hawkins of Forrest City, AR; sister Amy (Patrick) Bacon of Bella Vista, AR; and grandfather Fred Hawkins of Bruce.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce.  The funeral service honoring Alan’s life will be Saturday, October 19, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home, Bruce with Bro. Marty Cantwell officiating.  Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Justin Hawkins, Brad Gunter, Michael Cook, Jared Brown, Kevin Brown, and Walter Brown will serve as pallbearers.
