Aleen Prophet

Aleen Prophet, 95 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Magnolia Regional Hospital - Corinth, MS.
Born Thursday, November 25, 1920 in Vardaman, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Fillmore Dye and the late
Sally Dye. She was the wife of the late Samuel Prophet.
She was Retired manager - from Memphis Linen Supply, a member of Vardaman First Baptist Church, also a member of the Vardaman
City planning board.
Surviving are daughter, Marty (Bob)Prophet Parker of Middleton, TN. Two grandchildren; Allison Jill Brown of Atlanta, GA. and
Courtney Lee Brown Macdonald of Nashville, TN. Three step-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Fillmore Dye and Sally Dye, Husband, Samuel Zack Prophet, brothers, Durell Dye and Burnell Dye, sister, Idell Vanlandingham.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Archie Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, ,
Vardaman, Mississippi.
