Alfredo Guerrero

Alfredo Guerrero, 71, of Vardaman passed from this life on Thursday April 15, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was welcomed into this world on November 29, 1949 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico by his late parents Pablo Guerrero and Carmen Lopez.

Alfredo was a man that knew the value of hard work like so many others in his generation. He spent many seasons of his life in the agriculture industry as a farmer. Alfredo was a simple family man that cherished his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his expansive tightly knit family, but he has gone to rest in place far greater than human comprehension.

He leaves behind an expansive to continue walking down the path of life in his absence; loving wife, Maria De-La-Luz Guerrero of Vardaman; five sons: Jose (Laura) Guerrero of Robinsdale, Minnesota; Carols (Raquel) Guerrero of Houston; Pablo Guerrero of Vardaman; Salvador (Raquel) Guerrero of Woodland; Jorge (Claudia) Guerrero of Bruce; two daughters: Maria Christina Bejarano of Algoma; Olga Lida Guerrero of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico; one brother, Jose Luis Guerrero of Los Fresnos, Texas; three sisters: Maria Elena of Brownsville, Texas; Dora Guerrero of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico; Dolores Ruiz of Missouri; twelve grandchildren: Jorge Luis Guerrero, Melissa Guerrero, Andy Guerrero, Juventio Bejarano, Alex Bejarano, Pamela Bejarano, Angel Xavier Guerrero, Angelina Selena Guerrero, Diana Troncoso, Adrian Brice Guerrero, Diana Guerrero, Janeth Guerrero.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Guerrero and Carmen Lopez; one brother, Jose Alfredo Guerrero; one sister, Griselda Guerrero

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Vardaman. The funeral service remembering Alfredo's life will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Father Cesa Sanchez officiating. Juventino Bejarano, Carlos Guerrero, Jorge Guerrero, Jorge Guerrero Jr, Jose Guerrero, and Pablo Guerrero will carry Alfredo to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery.
