Allen Brooks Collins, 87 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Calhoun Health Services Hospital in
Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Thursday, April 11, 1929 in Bruce, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Robert Carl Collins and the late Erma Jewel
Bennett Collins. He was the husband of Edna Earl Ingram Collins.
Graduate of Ellard High School
He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in The United States Air Force.
and a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Owner of Collin's Saw Shop in Bruce for many years.
Surviving are his wife Edna Earl Ingram Collins, a daughter, Judy Collins Bartholomew of Fayette, AL, one brother, Larry
Collins of Bruce, MS.
Two Grandchildren, Brooke Moore and Lacie Junkin. Two Great grandchildren, Andi Moore and Mattie Junkin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Carlton Allen Collins, sister, Maida Collins Stegall.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr.
Daniel Hathorne and Bro. Darrrell Logan officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
Pallbearers will be Darren Collins, Jarrad Collins, Jerry Dunn, Thomas Dunn, Jim McCostlin, Dale Morgan, Lee Morris, and
Bobby Stribling. Honorary Pallbearers are John Brower, Scott Collins, Donald Edwards, Thurman Massey and Bennett Earl
Zinn.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476
hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
