Alverta Orr

Bruce, MS, - Alverta Jane Orr, 72, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital N. MS, Oxford, MS. She was born June 12, 1945 in Needle, CA to the late parents of Ellis F. King and Ellis Alverta Sanders King. She worked for many years as a teacher assistant in Picayune, N.M.R.C., The Apple Orchard and a home sitter with the sick and elderly. She was a member of The Church of Ladder Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald Keith King, two sisters, Ellis Loraine Harvey and Thelma June Thweatt, and a daughter, Kimberly Dawn.

Survivors are her husband, Danny G. Orr, Bruce, MS; three daughters, Annabella Elizabeth Orr, Pittsboro, MS, Jessica Orr, Banner, MS, Sharon Jane Titus, Philadelphia, PA; a son, Dillion Orr, Tupelo, MS; Nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
