Amma Dulin

Amma Dulin, 88, passed away on February 11,2022 at her daughters home in Tennessee. She was born on May 1,1933 in Calhoun County Mississippi to the late James Edward Brown and Ova Lou Brown.

Amma graduated from Bruce high school in 1951. She started her career as customer service specialist in Memphis Tennessee at Sears Crosstown where she worked for 37 years. She was best known for her love of singing and playing the organ, funny sense of humor, sweet gentle spirit, spending lots of time with her grandchildren, and singing to her special-needs granddaughter daily. She was one of a kind, a joy and light to her family.

Amma is survived by Lisa Fields Jenkins (Troy) daughter, of Tennessee. Three stepsons: Eric Dulin(Connie) of Cordova, TN, Brian Dulin(Teresa) and Darren Dulin. Four grandchildren: Michah Jenkins, Jenna Jenkins, Jeremiah Jenkins (Mandy), Hannah Dhillon(Lucky). One great-grandson Paul Dhillon. Five step grandchildren. Two sisters: Bobbie Ferguson, of Bruce, MS and Jimmie Donaldson, of Bruce,MS

Amma is preceded in death by her parents James Edward Brown and Ova Lou Brown. Two brothers: Berl Brown and James Laderl Brown. Loving nieces and nephews

The Service honoring Amma's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday February 13, 2022 at Parker Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce Mississippi with Bro. Kevin Chrestman officiating, Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Brown, Brian Dulin, Eric Dulin, Scott Ferguson, Jeremiah Jenkins and Troy Jenkins. The family will receive friends on Sunday February 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS.
