Angela Ruth Mccluskey

Ms. Angela Ruth McCluskey, 56, of Bruce passed into eternity on May 26,2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Jackson on May 7, 1963 to the late Brice Rasberry and Sara Patton Rasberry.  She was member of Banner Baptist Church where she served as the church pianist for numerous years

Angela was a woman who God blessed with intelligence and she put it to the test after graduating from Bruce High School in 1981. Mrs. McCluskey obtained two college degrees in her lifetime first, a respiratory therapy degree which she used to care for many ailing people over many years. Then, a Bachelor of Arts in English which she used to educate many young scholars in english and reading courses.

Angela leaves behind two sons, McKennon Brice McMillian (Meghan) of Ecru, and Kolin Douglas McMillian of Bruce; two daughters of her heart, Anna Crofford, and Andrea Stamper, their children Evan Crawford Jasym Stamper, and Nicholas Stamper.

She was preceded in death by her parents Brice Rasberry and Sara Patton Rasberry; one brother, Joey Rasberry, and her husband David McCluskey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 28, 2019 from 12:00P.M - 2:00P.M at Banner Baptist Church. In addition to the visitation a funeral service honoring Angela’s life will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2019 beginning 2:00 P.M at Banner Baptist Church. Bro.Danny Kelly and Bro.Darrell Logan will be leading the funeral service; with burial following at Bruce Cemetery in Bruce. Pallbearers helping lay Mrs.McCluskey to rest include: Earnest Stephens, Danny Miller, Lanny Brown, Hunter Mize, Bradley Goodwin, and Casey Hollis.
