Anita Darlene Blackwelder

Anita Darlene Saxon Blackwelder, 53, of Bruce departed this life suddenly on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Anita was born in Memphis, TN, on August 2, 1969.

Graduate of Bruce High School class of 1989. Anita was an employee of Weyerhaeuser. She loved her family, riding motorcycles, trips with family and friends and especially going to the beauty shop to get pampered. Anita was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church. Although she has departed from our lives, her treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.

She leaves behind her son Dusty and wife Devin Blackwelder of Holcomb, MS, and her mother Pearline Hughes Saxon, Bruce, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Bom" Blackwelder; her father Douglas Glenn Saxon; brothers: Sonny Saxon and Ronnie (Millie) Saxon.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce, MS. The funeral service celebrating Anita's life will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Blackwelder and Bro. Kevin Chrestman officiating. Matt Bollinger, Colby Bollinger, Ricky Baker, B.J. Farmer, Bucky Lee, and Thomas Sosa will carry Anita to rest in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
