Ann Keel Vance

Bruce - Ann Keel Vance, 70, passed this earthly life and heavens gates on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home. She was born, January 21, 1948 in Water Valley, MS. Ann was a devoted, active member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church in Bruce. She was active with the senior adults, at her church and also Calhoun Baptist Association Senior Adults. She was honored to be a part of the Operation Christmas Child helping others less fortunate. She lived and represented the fulfillment of a life lived in wisdom with her church, community and family. Ann provided for her family in her earlier years working at Big Yank, of Water Valley, Glenn Slacks, of Bruce and at a Plant Materials Center in Tillatobia.

Ann Was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Franklin Keel, Sr. and Clara Mae Parker Keel and a Brother, Charles Keel.

Those left to honor her memory are a daughter, Cynthia Ann Vance Poteete "Joey", Bruce, MS; two sons, Larry Eugene Vance "Heidi", Gautier, MS and William Franklin Vance, Ocean Springs, MS' Three brothers, Troy Keel "Pearl" Coldwater, MS, Nolen Keel "Becky", Foley, AL and Kenneth Keel "Karen", Water Valley, MS; eight sisters, Janie Russell, Southaven, MS, Minnie Dickey, Water Valley, MS, Frances Davis, Oxford, MS, Linda Heath "Charles", Water Valley, MS and Carolyn Higgins "Joe", Murfreesboro, TN, Brenda Bain, Water Valley, MS, Joan Berryhill, Water Valley, MS and Joyce Schmitz "Calvin", Water valley, MS; Four grandchildren, Melanie Lee "Jacob", Kenneth Vance, Joeileigh Poteete, Jake Poteete; two step grandchildren, Spencer Salas, and Mattie Ross; two great grandchildren, Weston Jacobs and Parker Ferguson.

A funeral honoring her life will be held, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Dr. J.R. Eaton and Bro. Dan Dickerson will be officiating in the service. Pallbearers are Nathan Keel, Kevin Kimzey, Ronnie Poteete, Spencer Salas, Grant Thompson and Ricky Tramel.
