Annie Frances Russell

Annie Frances Russell, 48, of Pittsboro passed away suddenly on May 15, 2019 after a motorcycle accident in Carroll County. She was born to the late Charley Wayne Black and Shirley Jean Stewart.

Annie was a homemaker who dedicated her time to watching over her family and caring for them. She loved taking photographs of the great outdoors, more importantly the animals made the terrain home.

She leaves behind her husband Charles “ Chuck” Russell; One son , Colten Alan Russell of Pittsboro; Three Daughters, Amber Renee Carter of Bruce, Carolina Kellum of Vardaman ,and Carol Jean Russell of Pittsboro; Two Grandchildren, Allison Nicole Herbert ,and John Henry Russell; Two Brothers,  Matthew Black (Jennifer) of Buckhorn , and Patrick Black  (Audie) of Vardaman; Three Sisters, Christy Whitehead ( Jon) of Buckhorn, Meribeth Tapley ( Jerry) of Buckhorn, and Tina Kuykendall of Buckhorn; One Uncle, Kenneth Mann of Bruce.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charley Wayne Black and Shirley Jean Stewart; One Uncle, Richard Mann. The family will receive friends on Friday June 14,2019 from  6:00 P.M- 7:00 P.M at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce. In addition to the visitation a memorial service remembering Annie’s life will held Friday June 14, 2019 at 7:00P.M.
