Anthony  Glen Allen, Sr., 59 of Avinger, Texas died on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in
Marshall, Texas. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Allen.
Born Friday, June 28, 1957 in Minden, Louisiana, he was the son of Glen Allen and Helen Murphree Shipman.
Survivors include sons, Brad (Mary Beth) Allen of Mansfield, LA., Andy (Mary) Allen of Baytown, TX., Dusty (Megan) Allen of
Marshall, TX., Nick Allen of Avinger, TX., Tony Joe Allen of Avinger, TX. Daughter Layla (Cody) Allen of Bossier City, LA.
Three Grandchildren, Cash Allen, Annabelle Allen and Ashlie Allen. Brothers, Terry (Rita) Allen of Marshall, TX. Jeff Allen of
Marshall, TX. Sister, Angie (Pete) Weldon of Bruce, MS. Mother, Helen Murphree Shipman (Tim Brown) of Marshall, TX.
Father, Glen Allen of Karnack, TX.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Taylor
Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
Pallbearers will be Luke Allen, Matt Allen, T.J. Allen, Chad Austin, Kenny Britt, and Will Weldon.
