Anthony "Tony" Wade Harris

Anthony Wade Harris, born on November 20, 1972, in Ackerman, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at the age of 52. A beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather, he leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories in the hearts of those who knew him.

Raised in a close-knit family, Tony was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pontotoc, Mississippi. His passion for life was reflected in his hobbies, particularly his love for fishing, which brought him many peaceful moments by the water. His skills as a mechanic were well known, allowing him to share his talent and service with friends and family alike.

Anthony is survived by his loving mother Shirley Holloway, Calhoun City, MS; daughter Ashley Lane McGregor of Randolph, MS; son Austin Wade Harris of Ripley, MS: stepsons: Josh Russell of Ripley, MS and Jake Russell of Amory, MS; brother Michael (Michelle) Harris of Calhoun City, MS; grandchildren: Ariel Houston, Hunter McGregor, Bo Andrew McGregor .As we gather to remember his life, we hold tightly to the beautiful moments we shared, celebrating a man who lived fully and loved deeply.

Anthony was preceded in death by his wife Sondra Harris and father Karl Harris

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
