Audrey Cook

Pittsboro, MS- Audrey Lee Wright Turner Cook, 84, passed this earthly life Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Bruce Community Living Center. She was born March 21, 1933 in Banner, MS. Audrey was a Member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker where she enjoyed cooking for her family. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds in the spring and also quilting and her friends at the Happy Homemakers Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A. Herman Wright and Clara Dell Mitchell Wright, her husbands, Gayle Turner and Gordon Cook, sisters, Estelle Buchanan, Imogene Kelly, brothers, Buster Wright, Wayne Wright, grandsons, Andrew Turner and Robert Todd Benz.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Diane McKnight, Iuka, MS, Patricia Zinn, Bruce, MS, Debra Harrell (Vince) of Bluffton, SC; sons, Jerry Turner(Tina) Water Valley, MS, Stevie Turner, Florence, MS, Jeff Cook and Scott Cook both of Pittsboro, MS; sister, Eva Covington, Banner, MS; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the funeral home in Bruce from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J.R. Eaton and Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Gordon Brown, Scott Collins, Dustin Dunnegan, Parker Ellard, Bobby McKnight, and Charles Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Cook, Michael Cook, Roy Cook, Larry Covington, Holly Easley, Ben Hogan, Timmy King, Carl Massey, Terry Massey, Jeremy Turner, Bobby Wells and The Adult Ladies Sunday School Class .
