Audrey Faye Doss Hobson

Audrey Faye Doss Hobson, 60 passed away peacefully at her home in Oxford, MS on July 22, 2024.  She was born May 31, 1964, in Bruce to James Raymon Doss and Myra Frances Newsom White.

Audrey was a seamstress in her younger years working at Glenn Slacks Garment Company.  She loved sewing, fishing, camping, and playing dominoes.  She was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving family: husband Joe Hobson, of Oxford, MS ; mother Myra Frances Newsom White, of Water Valley, MS; sons Thomas Hobson, of Oxford, MS;  Timmy Hobson, of Sunflower, MS; and Steven Hobson, of Abbeville, MS; daughters Ashley Hobson,  of Tishomingo, MS;  Rachel Hobson, of  Sunflower, MS; and Madison Hobson, of Abbeville, MS; sisters Cheryl Hollis, of Tillatobia, MS and Shelia Doss, of Mountain Home, AR; brother Alan Doss; and grandchildren Kayliana Garcia, Meadow Hobson, and Haisleigh Hobson.
Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2024, at Turkey Creek Baptist Church from 12:00 PM until service time at 1:00 PM also at the church with Bro. Wade Miles and Bro. Freddy Buchanan officiating.  Burial will follow in Turkey Creek Cemetery

Pallbearers are Coty Barnett, Justin Hodo, Matthew Hobson, Steven Hobson, Thomas Hobson, and Timmy Hobson.
