Biloxi, MS-Barbara Ann Pittman Nolan, 80, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 surrounded by her family and loved ones at her home. She was born March 5, 1938 in Marks MS to the late parents of Finley Wright Pittman and Ruth Raye Bryan Pittman. She was a elementary school educator for over 36 years. Barbara was honored to have devoted her life to giving children educational opportunity. She spent decades as a 4 th grade teacher. She was called to be a teacher and helping others achieve. She was a  graduate of Calhoun City High School, University of Southern Mississippi B.A. and William Carey College where she earned her Masters and specialist degree.  Barbara was a true dedicated teacher, loved by many and missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Finley Bryan Pittman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kristi Mills (Michael), Biloxi, MS and Tonya Echols (Scott), Gulfport, MS; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Tabernacle Cemetery, Big Creek beginning at 1:00P.M. Remarks will be made by Bro. Steven Conley and Linda Nell Wright.
