Benjamin Joseph Crabtree

Benjamin Joseph Crabtree, 44, of Zanesfield, Ohio passed from this life suddenly on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his home. Born on October 11, 1976 in Springfield, Ohio, He was a son to Sandra Louise Price Mowery and the late Philip Dale Crabtree.

Benjamin, affectionately known as Ben by his friends and family, saw America’s highways from the driver’s seat of a big rig, hauling a multitude of things from coast to coast and border to border. Aside from his work life over the road, he found joy in a multitude hobbies. As a collector of antique piggy banks, Ben could often be found combing through the treasures of a bygone era in antique shops with hopes of finding a unique bank. He was also a connoisseur of thrift stores and found delight in searching through the menagerie of items. When Ben preferred to spend his spare time in a more relaxing manner he played games on his cell phone and tinkered with working on cars.  Although Ben has departed from our lives, his treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones.

Those left to continue walking down the path of life in his absence include; Mother, to Sandra Louise Price Mowery of Calhoun City ; step father, Edward Johnson of Calhoun City; one brother, Douglas (Anna) Crabtree of Havre, Montana.

Ben is preceded in death by his father, Philip Dale Crabtree.

The graveside service remembering Ben’s life will take place on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jimmy Vance officiating.
