Berttie Pauline Walker

Berttie Pauline Walker, 76 of Calhoun City, Mississippi departed for eternity on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Health Care Nursing Home in Calhoun City, Mississippi.Born Sunday, April 11, 1943 in Calhoun City, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Doyle Melton and the late Pauline Swindol Melton.

Bertie was a homemaker by choice and spent the days looking after her family. She accepted the gift of eternal salvation from her Lord and Savior and worshiped him faithfully at Faith Baptist Church.

Surviving are husband Earl Walker; Sons, Terry Coleman of Grand Rapids, MI and Jerry Coleman of Vardaman, MS, daughter, Sherry Coleman of Vardaman, MS, brothers, Joe Melton of Bruce, MS, Jerry Melton of Bruce, MS, Mark Melton of Bruce, MS and Ricky Melton of Bruce, MS, sisters, Jean Chandler of Houlka, MS and Linda Taylor of Pittsboro, MS; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be at 4:00 PM on Tuesday at Haven Hill - Melton Cemetery with Bro. James Taylor officiating.
