Betty Thomas Gregory

Betty Thomas Gregory of Bruce passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Oxford Health and Rehab. Born in Calhoun county on March 22, 1938 to Rupert Noel Thomas and Bobbie Hendrix Thomas, she was 80 years of age.
Betty developed an eye for the beauty in art at a very young age. That eye would allow her to enjoy both painting and restoring antiques. Among other hobbies, she was known as a lover of animals.
Betty leaves behind her devoted Sister and Caregiver, Faye T. (Bobby) Howell of Oxford; Brother James Noel Thomas of Denver, CO; and a host of Nieces and Nephews. As family and friends mourn her passing this earthly life, take comfort in knowing that Betty’s artistic spirit lives on.
There will be a visitation with the family on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A funeral service will be held to honor Betty’s life immediately following visitation in the chapel of the funeral home, where Betty’s Nephew Steve Poindexter will offer a special eulogy.
Following funeral services, Betty will be laid to eternal rest in Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jake Dunn, R.J. Dunn, Billy Howell, Bobby Howell, and Charlie Spradling.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Husband Bedford Gregory; Husband William Tittle; and Sister Patsy T, Poindexter.
