Betty Sue McCain, 67 of Water Valley, Mississippi passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Oxford Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Oxford, Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, December 20, 1949 in Banner, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Cleatus Reid Miller and the late Betty Sims Miller.
Betty was a graduate of Bruce High School and was a nurse for Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She enjoyed playing on the computer, Facebook and most importantly she loved spending time with her family.
She attended Driver's Flat Baptist Church,
She will be greatly missed by her husband Michael Steven McCain, sons, Andy (Brandye) Gossett of Oxford, MS and Chris (Jennifer) Gossett of Oxford, MS, brothers, Charlie Miller of Maben, MS and Bobby (Pat) Miller of Grenada, MS, sisters, Grace (Leslie) Morgan of Banner, MS, Elvis (Charles) Davis of Water Valley, MS and Alice Hodge of Oxford, MS; grand children, Harley Anne Gossett, Macie Gossett, Lindley Gossett, and A.J. Gossett.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marvin Sparks and Bro. Jerry Derryberry officiating. Interment will be in Drivers Flat Cemetery, Banner, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Davis, Robert Davis, Keith Inman, Andy Gossett, Freddie Martin, David Miller, and Scotty Miller.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
