Beverly Carroll Ruth

Beverly Carroll Ruth – 60 – passed this earthly life on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, MS. She was born December 6, 1957 in Bruce, Mississippi to the late parents of Carroll David Ruth and Brenda K. Reid Ruth.

Beverly was a graduate of Bruce High School Class of 1975 and Northwest Mississippi Community College. After College she worked as a surgical scrub technician at the hospital in Bruce. She was an active member of Bruce United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women’s Club. She was also very active participant in the Calhoun Community Choir as a singer and a fundraiser for the choir. Beverly had a ministry helping others, be it helping the senior citizen’s with gardening , mowing their grass or just knowing she cared by a phone call or visit. Her smile and grace will be missed by all she came in contact with, her memory will live on in her love ones hearts.

Those left to honor her memory are a step father, John Robert Morris, Bruce, MS, four uncles, A.B. Ruth “Martha”, Columbus, MS, Leon Ruth “Rose”, Walls, MS, Andy Reid “Amy”, Bruce, MS and Tommy Reid “Jeannie”, Coffeeville, MS, a aunt, Judy Burgess, Houlka, MS and a host of cousins.

A celebration of her life will be Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Bruce United Methodist Church with Bro. Lannis May and Bro. Darrell Logan officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday prior to service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the service being set at 2:00 p.m.
