Billie Rhea Bollinger, 92, departed from this life on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in Little Rock, AR. She was born on February 13, 1931, in Calhoun County, MS to the late Bill Bryant and Marie Hubbard Bryant.
Billie Rhea retired from the Kroger Company after 35 years of service as a clerk. Upon retirement she began a new career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Billie Rhea was a member of First Baptist Church in Conway, AR. She loved painting, reading, spending time with her family, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Carroll David Bryant, and her sister Mildred Bryant Spratlin.
Billie Rhea is survived by three daughters: Cynthia Owens of Port Orange, FL; Nancy (Dave) Moser of Kerrville, TX; and Gwen Bollinger of Eureka Springs, AR; one son Andy (Teressa) Bollinger of Conway, AR; four sisters: Karla Vanlandingham of Sulphur, OK; Sue (Charles) Stone of Potts Camp, MS; Della (Jimmie Dee) Vanlandingham of Mathiston, MS; and Deborah (Donald) Worsham of Potts Camp, MS; three brothers: Jerry (Carolyn) Bryant of Banner, MS; J. C. (Dorothy) Bryant of Oakland, TN; and Don Bryant of Bruce, MS; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott) Lynch, Michael (Megan) Owens, William (January) Owens, Chelsea (Brian) Bowlin, Hannah Bollinger, and Andrea (Mitchell) Pruitt; eleven grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service honoring Billie’s life will take place on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce with Rev. Jeff Vanlandingham officiating. Pallbearers will be: Chris Bryant, Michael Owens, William Owens, Wesley Spratlin, Kirk Stone, and Todd Vanlandingham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Bryant, J. C. Bryant, and Don Bryant. Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery.
