Billy L. "Bill" Davis, 81 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - East in
Memphis, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, March 15, 1934 in Bruce, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Alvin L. Davis and Ivie Davis . He was the
husband of Faye Moorhead Davis.
He was a civil engineer and land surveyor, Founder Co-Owner of Davis Engineering.
He was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife Faye Moorhead Davis of Bruce, MS. whom he married on February 21, 1953. son, Mark Edward
Davis of Bruce, MS, daughter, Frankie & husband Gary Albright of Memphis, TN. Four grandchildren, Jonathan Albright &
wife Emma, Emily Winter & husband
Ron, Tyler Davis, Conner Davis & wife Mary Katherine. One great grandson, Hudson Winter.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Ray Ruth, Carrol David Ruth and Festeau Davis.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Darrell Logan
officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Albright, Conner Davis, Tyler Davis, Robert Denley, Bryon Harris, Tony Ruth, William Ruth, Ron
Winter. Honorary pallbearers, Jim Aron, Lee Otis Bray, Delane Ivy, Arthur Newman, and Coffee Shop Friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476
hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
