Billy Dean Bryant

Billy Dean Bryant, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on September 2, 1958.  Dean was a valued employee of Resolute Forest Products (Bow Water) in Grenada, Mississippi, from which he recently retired.

Billy's life was marked by simplicity and joy, deeply rooted in his love for family and the great outdoors. He found solace and happiness in fishing, the thrill of Ole Miss sports, and, most importantly, cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. His passion for family shone brightly in the moments he spent with his son, Hunter Bryant of Bruce, and his son Devin and daughter-in-law Melissa Bryant of Oxford, MS. along with two step-children, Courtney Moss of Bruce, and Mary Alon (Levi) Gosa of Brandon, MS. Dean leaves a cherished legacy through his grandchildren, Georgia Moss, Joey Moss, Aiden Bryant, Addie Bryant and Collins Bryant, each of whom he adored and supported with unwavering love.

In his passing, Dean is also survived by his dear brother, Terry (Janet) Bryant of Coldwater, MS, a connection that brought him great comfort throughout his life. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and a spirit that brought joy to all who knew him.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie Jean Ferguson Bryant, father, William Bryant, mother, Myra Chrestman Bryant, grandfather, Earnest Bryant, grandmother, Addie Irene Carter Bryant, grandfather, Ruben Chrestman, and grandmother, Bessie Williams Chrestman

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
