Billy Franklin Miller, of Paris, MS, passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 88 In Oxford Health and Rehab. Born in Round Pond, AR on November 26, 1935, Billy was a retired Machinist at Whirlpool, known for his meticulous craftsmanship and passion for his work.
A devoted member of Paris Baptist Church, Billy found solace and strength in his faith, cherishing the community and friendships that came with it. He was a proud father to his daughters Cathy Jean Miller of Memphis, TN and Linda Ann Morgan of Southaven, MS, and a Step Son's, Carl (Martha) Massey of Banner, MS, Keith Massey of Oxford, MS, Step-daughter's, Pat Miller of Duckhill, Donna Howard of Hot Springs, MS, and Kay Williams of Bruce, MS. who meant the world to him.
Billy had a zest for life, finding joy in simple pleasures like watching the Atlanta Braves play, attending Bluegrass festivals, and spending his days out on the water, crappie fishing. His creativity and festive spirit shone brightly during the holiday season, where he delighted in adorning his home in Paris, MS with an impressive display of 35,000 Christmas lights, spreading cheer to all who passed by.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Billy's life will be held at Providence Cemetery in Banner, MS on September 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating. Trace King, Bo Massey, Chad Massey, Levi Massey, Nathan Massey, and Scottie Miller will serve as pallbearers.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Annette Miller, father, Harold Miller, mother, Maggie Miller, son, Ricky Franklin Miller, and a sister, Helen Miller.
