Bobby Fate Hannaford

Bobby Fate Hannaford, 83, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. surrounded by his loving family.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman, MS. with visitation preceding at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Hannaford was born July 30, 1935 in Calhoun City, to the son of W.J. Hannaford and Ivy Ruth Hannaford. He served his country, serving in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. He was a graduate of MS. State University. Mr. Hannaford began his career with Commercial Credit in Greenville, MS. He then spent the next 30 plus years as the owner of Hannaford Ford Lincoln Mercury Car dealership business in Cleveland, MS.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Blue Hannaford of Vardaman, MS; daughters Tina Hannaford Jones (Doug) of Vicksburg, MS, Tammy Hannaford of Ridgeland, MS., and Teresa Hannaford Dunlop of Madison, MS.; two grandchildren, Austin Douglas Jones (Jessica) Carrollton, TX. Ann Ashton Jones (Conner) of Homewood, AL.; three great-granddaughters, Annaliza Ruth Jones, Emilie Rae Jones of Carrollton, TX, Miriam Blue Jones of Homewood, AL. Mr. Hannaford is survived by two brothers, William Allen of New Albany, MS. and James Carol (Jan) of Batesville, MS.
