Bobby Jenkins

Bobby Gene Jenkins, 85, passed away with family by his side, on July 20, 2021, in Jacksonville, AR.

Bobby Jenkins was born on September 15, 1935 in Calhoun County, Mississippi, to the late Johnny Wilton Jenkins and Myrtle Lee Joblin Jenkins.
Bobby attended Ellard High School. He completed mechanical drafting at Tennessee State Tech. He pursued a career in design and building production machines and equipment. He worked at Binswanger Glasscraft Products and retired from General Electric.
He enjoyed playing country music, hunting and spending time with his family.

Bobby married Ann Tramel on January 16, 1954 in Calhoun County, Mississippi. They were married 66 years and had 4 children.

Bobby is survived by Kathy Brown - daughter, of Bruce, MS, Bobbie (Claude) Klinck - daughter, of Little Rock, AR, Tammy (Steve) Butts- daughter, of Ward, AR, and Dan (Melanie) Jenkins - son, of Quincy, IL. Pearl Fly- sister, of Grenada, MS, June (Billy) Hill- sister, of Bruce, MS. He has 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Tramel Jenkins; parents Johnny Wilton and Myrtle Lee Jenkins; four brothers: Rupert "Boots" Jenkins, Johnny Wilton "JW" Jenkins, James Earl "Jamie" Jenkins, and Billy Dean Jenkins; three sisters: Leila Dunn, Helen Myers and Faye Armstrong.

Visitation: Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, Bruce, MS

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm at
Concord Cemetery, Bruce, MS with Bro. Vincent Anderson officiating.
