Bobby Lynn Simpson

Bobby Lynn Simpson, aged 78, passed away on May 17, 2025, in Water Valley, Mississippi. Born on September 25, 1946, in Illinois, Bobby lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and a love for the great outdoors. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his warmth, humor, and spirit.

Bobby dedicated many years of his life to his work at Memphis Hardwood and Flooring, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and made lasting memories. Outside of his professional life, he found joy in hunting and fishing, spending countless hours enjoying the natural beauty surrounding him.

Bobby is survived by his beloved sister, Peggy (Rusty) Pickard of Olive Branch, MS, his brother, Rickey Simpson of Water Valley, MS, and his cherished niece, Renea Bomer of Hernando, MS. His loss leaves an indelible mark on those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff Simpson, Vivian Raley Simpson.

Funeral services for Bobby Lynn Simpson will be held on May 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place at the same location from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Bobby will be laid to rest at Mount Liberty Cemetery, Water Valley, MS.
