Bonnie Sue Effie Blount, of Bruce, MS departed this life at Bruce Community Living Center on February 11, 2026, at the age of 73. Born to Floyd and Annie Gann on April 4, 1952, Bonnie lived a vibrant life filled with love and devotion to her family and friends.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband, William Blount; her daughter, Susan (Todd) Coley of Houlka, MS; her sons, Wade (Kim) Blount and Kenny (Melissa) Blount all of whom are of Bruce, MS; grandchildren, Lindsey (John) Bray, Brittany (Gary) Owen, Tyler (Amanda) Blount, Dusty (Sara) Blount, Cody Blount, Jake Blount, Kala McCammon, Justin Blount, Jonathon (Brittany) Austin, William Ray Blount, John Morgan Ramsey, Dylan Coley, Logan (Jayla) Coley, Amber Coley, and Ava Coley. Along with her 13 cherished great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She embraced her family with unwavering love and support. She had a passion for online shopping and loved spending time at the casino, where she found joy in the fun and excitement it brought. Additionally, she had a supportive community among her Facebook group friends who shared the journey of living with COPD.

The public viewing for Bonnie will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi, on February 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place at the same location at 12:00 PM with Bro. Jeff Blackwelder and Bro. Will Turner officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Memory Memorial Garden in Bruce, MS 38915, following the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Starkey, Jason Gann, Jeff Robertson, Jimmy D. Gann, Johnny D. Gann, and Robert E. Blount. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Blount, Dusty Blount, Dylan Coley, Jake Blount, John Morgan Ramsey, Jonathon Austin, Justin Blount, Logan Coley, Tyler Blount, and William Ray Blount

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Gann; mother, Annie Gann; sons, Michael and Ray Blount; sister, Katherine Anglin; and brothers, Jimmy Gann, Delaine Gann, Ray Gann, Gary Gann, and Johnny Gann.
