Bonnie Jo King

Bruce, MS – Bonnie Jo King, 63, passed this earthly life on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at N.M.M.C. Tupelo. She was born in Bruce April 9, 1955 to the late parents of William Nix, Jr. and JoAnne Guthrie Shanks. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and devoted to her family. Bonnie Jo enjoyed playing Nintindo, watching Mash and going to softball games with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Larry King and beloved aunt Betty Golden.

She is survived by daughter, LaDonna King (Shane) O’Bannon, Bruce; sons, Timothy Lee (Krystal) King, Bruce, Jeffrey Norris King, Bruce; sister Debra (Kenny) Harrison, Pittsboro; brothers, Ricky (Joy) Nix, Derma, Danny Bevill, Vardaman, Willie Bevill, Eupora, Carl Bevill, Jr., Eupora; grandchildren, Jodie (Reed) Gregory, Austin (Heather) King, Dakota King, Kodie O’Bannon, Dylan King, Milo King, and great grandchild, Tate King. Beloved uncle Johnny Golden.

Visitation and funeral service will be Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. till service time at 3:00 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce. Bro. Will Turner and Bro. Darrell Logan will be officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kalvin Hooper, Reed Gregory, John David Henry, Austin King, Dakota King, and George Norris.
