Bonnie Elaine Todd

Bonnie Elaine Todd, age 81, of Bruce, Mississippi, passed away on July 28, 2025. Born on September 25, 1943, in Ellard, Mississippi, Bonnie was a cherished sister, mother, and grandmother. Known for her kind spirit and caring heart, she dedicated her life to nurturing her family and building connections within her community.

Bonnie was a proud homemaker and manager of a local video store, where she delighted in visiting with customers and forming friendships that would last a lifetime. Her love for all people shone through in every interaction, and she always made those around her feel special and valued.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Vickie (Mike) Harrell of Vardaman, MS, her son Troy (Alecia) Todd of Bruce, MS, and her sister Nancy (Matelon) Ferguson of Bruce, MS, as well as her sisters-in-law Becky Todd of Starkville, MS and Sandra Jenkins of Bruce, MS and brother-in-law David Longest of Bruce, MS. Bonnie cherished her role as a grandmother to Todd (Regan) Harrell, Ellen (Fiance- Juan) Harrell, Hayden Todd, Hoyt Todd, Hunt Todd, and Hart Todd. She was their biggest fan, attending all of their ball games and celebrating their achievements with an infectious enthusiasm. Bonnie's passion for basketball was unwavering, especially during the thrilling Larry Bird days of the Boston Celtics, which brought her immense joy.

Bonnie's warmth and compassion will forever be treasured, not only by her family but also by her friends and neighbors who experienced the light she brought into their lives.

A public viewing will be held at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home on July 30, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM. This will be followed by a funeral service, celebrating Bonnie's life, in the Chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Bro. Kevin Chrestman and Dr. Bobby Douglas officiating. She will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Calhoun City, Mississippi, on the same day.

Serving as pallbearers are Todd Harrell, Hayden Todd, Hoyt Todd, Hunt Todd, Rob Spratlin, Danny Massey, Chad Massey, and Chris Longest. Honorary pallbearers will be Gwin Longest, Bobby Stribling, and Jerry Bowles.

Bonnie will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her loving spirit, her devotion to her family, and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.

Bonnie was preceded in death by: her husband William Leon Todd, father Arlis Jenkins, mother  Lorette McKibben Jenkins, sister Vivian Longest, and brother A.C. Jenkins
