Brenda Logan Murphree, 74 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Monday, January 25, 2016, at her residence in Vardaman,
Mississippi.
Born Thursday, March 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Sission Logan and Myrtle McGreger Logan. She was the
wife of Sterlin Murphree.
She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
She had worked at Kellwood Co. and Thirty seven years at Calhoun Health Services in Calhoun City, MS.
Surviving are husband Sterlin Murphree of Vardaman, MS., son, Randy Murphree of Palm Springs, CA, sisters, Rena Logan
of Pontotoc, MS, Polly Tucker of Bartlett, TN and Linda Miller of Pittsboro, MS. Grandchildren, Logan and Zachary Murphree
both of Palm Springs, CA.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vardaman with Bro. Robert
Earl Alexander and Bro. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Pittsboro, MS.
Pallbearers will be Ira Berry, Dewayne Buchanan, Bobby Cossey, Jeff Miller, John Miller, Eddie Mounce, Ryan Mounce, and
Kenneth Walls. Honorary pallbeares are James Boyles, David Logan, Jim Miller, Jerry Murphree, and Sid Murphree.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, , Vardaman, Mississippi.
