Brenda Joyce Walls

Brenda Joyce Walls 67 of Calhoun City, passed away on October 17, 2024, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on May 13, 1957, to a loving family in Mississippi,

Brenda found joy in the simple pleasures of life, taking pleasure in her work, attending events at the V.F.W., and dancing her heart out. As a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church, she found solace and community in her faith.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Amanda Walls of Calhoun City, MS; sons, Timothy (Dianne) Farris and Steve Walls both of Calhoun City; sister, Linda Dye of Derma; grandchildren, Jacob Dylan Farris, Callie Farris, and Elijah Ray Walls; great-grandchild, Wilder Farris; as well as nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

A service to honor and remember Brenda's life will take place at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on October 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm. with Bro. James Guest and Bro. Gene Skelton officiating. Visitation will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 until 2:00 on Sunday. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery, Calhoun City, Mississippi.

Brenda's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, dancing in a place of eternal joy and cleanliness.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, William York, mother, Ella Mae Dotson York, brother, Durwood York, grandchild, Caine Ray Walls.
