Bro. Ray Hamblin, 76 of Houston, MS. died on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Trace Regional Hospital in
Houston, Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, November 9, 1937 in Houlka, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Benny Lee Hamblin and the late
Velma Lee Sprayberry Hamblin. He was the husband of 53 years, Emma Skeen Hamblin married on March 14,1961.
He served as church Pastor 33 yrs. Church Is The Lord Jesus Christ. Retired Gold Metal Mfg. in Pyland, MS.
He was a member of Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ.
Surviving are son, Gerald (Sheila) Hamblin of Houston, MS, daughters, Rhonda Knox of Houston, MS, Lisa (Bruce)
Price of Houston, MS, Tracey (Damon) Dotson of Houston, MS and special daughter, Penny McKellor of Una, MS,
brother, Charles Hamblin of Houston, MS, sisters, Faye Moss of Houlka, MS and Janice McRight of Pontotoc, MS.
Grandchildren, Andrew Hamblin, Perry Knox, Jr. Kristin Bevil, Samantha Moore, Marcus Dotson, Terri Dotson, Emily
Parker, Maycee Price. Five Great Grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ. Interment will be in Skuna
Valley Cemetery, in Houlka, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Church Of The Lord Jesus
Christ, , Vardaman, Mississippi.
