Carlton Atley Moore

Carlton Atley Moore 83 of Sarepta, MS, passed away at his home on Friday November 1, 2024.   A cherished husband to Ellie Ruth Gann Moore of Sarepta, MS, devoted father to Larry (Wendy) Moore of Bruce, MS, Regina (Stephen) Moore-Capell of Sarepta, MS, and James Moore of Sarepta,MS, a sister, Florence Taylor of Pontotoc, a proud grandfather to Amelia Baldwin, Robert Baldwin, Michelle Baldwin, Brooke Moore Hooker, Brandon Moore, Turner Moore, Taylor Moore Hollis, and Tiner Moore. and twenty five great-grandchildren. Carlton's presence touched the lives of many.

Born in Buckhorn, MS on February 8, 1941, Carlton owned and operated Sarepta Auto Sales for many years, showcasing his passion for cars and connecting with customers. Carlton's work ethic and determination shined brightly in his successful career.

A man of simple pleasures, Carlton found joy in the little things in life - mowing the lawn on a sunny day and observing the beauty of birds in flight. His love for nature and tranquility was evident in his peaceful presence and kind demeanor.

A devout member of Sarepta Baptist Church, Carlton's faith was a guiding light throughout his life, providing him with strength and solace in times of joy and sorrow. His unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community will forever be remembered and cherished.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the public viewing at Parker Memorial Funeral Home on November 3, 2024, at 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Bro. Vincent Anderson officiating. with burial following in Sarepta Cemetery. Robert Baldwin, Brandon Moore, Mike Moore, Nicky Moore, Tiner Moore, and Turner Moore will serve as pallbearers and The Sarepta Men's Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Carlton was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Mae Luther Moore, brothers, James Moore, Pete Moore, Gerald Moore, sister, Estes Moore Pugh,and a great grandson, Logan Atley Harr.
