Mrs. Carolyn Jean Dickson, 60 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Monday, December 14, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.
Born Monday, June 27, 1955 in Grenada, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Roy Knighton and the late Virginia Nichols Knighton. She was the wife of the late Hal Dickson.
She was a member of Bruce First Baptist.
She was an LPN at the VA Nursing Home in Oxford, Ms.
Surviving are sons, Brad R. Dickson and wife Jamie of Hattiesburg, MS and Craig Hal Dickson and wife Carley of Olive Branch, MS, brothers, Joseph Knighton of Rosedale, MS, Ronnie Knighton of Brandon, MS and Roy Knighton of Northport, AL, sisters, Judy Hill of Brandon, MS, Joyce Bell of Saltello, MS, Katherine Hall of Pontotoc, MS,
Debbie Hall of Salem, AL and Barbara Carver of Bruce, MS. Grandchildren, Chandler Dickson, Luke Dickson, Jaxon Dickson, and Raegan Dickson. Her Boyfriend George Rose of Duck Hill, Ms.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Paul Morris officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Herbert L. Dickson, Ronnie Flanigan, Wade Hall, Johnny Kakales, John Massey, and Royce Tidwell.
