Cassie Jean Ferguson Bryant, of Pittsboro, MS, passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born on February 1, 1966, in Tupelo, MS, to her parents, and she would go on to lead a life filled with love, dedication, and compassion.
Cassie retired as a Payroll Clerk at the Calhoun County Chancery Clerk's Office, Cassie's commitment to her work was unwavering. Her dedication to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She leaves behind her loving husband, Billy Dean Bryant of Pittsboro, her children Mary Alon (Levi) Gosa of Pittsboro, Courtney James of Bruce, Hunter Bryant of Bruce, and Devin (Melissa) Bryant of Oxford, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Georgia Moss, Joey Moss, Aiden Bryant, Collins Bryant and Addie Bryant; her brothers, Mickey (Mary Catherine) Ferguson, Steve (Jill) Ferguson, Jon (Cindy) Ferguson and Joe Paul Ferguson along with a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Cassie was not just a dedicated professional but also an active member of her community. Her involvement in various organizations, including attended Pittsboro Baptist Church, a member of Bruce First Baptist Church, the 20th Century Club, Bonco Group, and Feed the Pantry -Kids of Bruce Schools, showcased her selfless nature and unwavering sense of duty towards those around her.
Parker Memorial Funeral Home will host a public viewing on Wednesday July 17, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Following this, a funeral service honoring Cassie's life will take place at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. The burial ceremony will take place at Bruce Cemetery where Cassie will be laid to rest alongside her loved ones. Casey Clark, Jason Ferguson, Kennon Ferguson, Mark Ferguson, Rudy Ferguson, Wiley Ferguson, Will Howell and Bill Malone will serve as pallbearers.
While Cassie's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all those who knew her, her memory will forever shine bright, a beacon of love and kindness for all. May she rest in eternal peace.
Cassie was preceded in death by her parents: Alon Ferguson, Betty Jean Bagwell Ferguson.
