Charles Everett Edwards
Born December 26, 1942 - Entered Eternal Rest February 16, 2026
Charles Everett Edwards lived a life of kindness, faith, and generosity. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he shared his heart with everyone he met. Through his long career as a Saladmaster salesman, he touched countless lives, not only through his work but through the laughter, wisdom, and helping hand he offered so freely. Charles never met a stranger; his warm smile and loving spirit made every place he went brighter.
He is now rejoicing in heaven with his beloved mother and all those family members who entered eternity before him, surrounded by peace and the everlasting light of Jesus Christ.
Charles is survived by his loving daughter Jeri Mathews and her husband Louis Orion Mathews III of Mount Vernon, Alabama, and by his son Joseph Leo Edwards. He is remembered with eternal love by his late daughter Robin Renée Edwards, whose memory he cherished deeply.
His legacy overflows through his treasured grandchildren: Zanab Kiaee and her children, Dominic and Seline Ersoy; Atefeh Renée Kiaee and her children, Trinity Faulkner, Cyrus Faulkner, and Alireza Kiaee with his wife Mashid and their daughter Lena; Amir Emmanuel Kiaee and wife Lindsey; and Zohreh Michele Kiaee and husband Raymond Russell, and their children Jaxon and Kaydence, lifelong John and Sandra Roberts who Charles trained at Saladmaster and continued a friendship for over 50 years.
He is also survived by his beloved Aunt Geneva "Gee" Kennedy, Uncle Bobby Kennedy, and his dear siblings: Cheryl Middleton and her husband B.J. Middleton, and their daughter Michele Work with sons David and Luke; Anita Carr; Johnny Edwards; Roseanne Wortman; Tommy Edwards; Cynthia Phifer; and a very special cousin, Carol Dye.
Charles is preceded in death by his siblings Marie Sisson, C.D. Edwards, Ricky Edwards, and Perry Edwards, all of whom welcome him home.
His life was a shining testament to love, humility, and unwavering faith. To know him was to know true generosity of spirit. Though he may have left this earthly home, his laughter, guidance, and love remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to call him family and friend.
A funeral service honoring Charles's life will be held on Thursday February 19 at 2:00 PM at Mount Vernon Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon, AL. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until service time on the same date and location.
The staff at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce, MS. are honored to serve the Edwards family during this difficult time.
