Charles Steven Melton

Charles Steven Melton, 66, passed away on March 8, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North MS in Oxford.  He was born on December 10, 1957, to the late Charles William Melton and Mayford Bumgart Melton.

Charles worked in furniture industry until his retirement.  He loved to fish, admire old cars, and attend car shows.  He also loved his family and friends.

He is survived by daughters Dana (Dusty) Helton, of Vardaman, MS, and Kaleye Melton, of Bruce, MS; son Charles Lee Melton, of Derma, MS; brother Ricky Lynn Melton, of Bruce, MS; and seven grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mayford Melton, and sister Sarah Jane Blount.

Visitation for Charles Melton will be Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A graveside service will be Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Garden with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating.
