Christine S. Clark, a beloved member of the Bruce, MS community, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on July 11, 1930, in Coffeeville, MS, Christine dedicated her life to both her family and her entrepreneurial spirit. As a proud owner and operator of Clark's Service Center and The Trading Place, she made a lasting impact on the local business community, fostering connections and friendships that transcended the world of retail.
Christine was not only a businesswoman but also a respected Shaklee vitamin representative, firmly believing in the principles of natural holistic healing and remedies. Her passion for health and wellness inspired those around her, and her commitment to a better life through natural means was evident to all who knew her.
Christine cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her daughter, Judy "Willie" Cook of Fulton, MS, and her grandchildren: Christy "David" Morgan, Chad "Leah" Rodgers, Autumn "Matt" Insell, Dillon "Katie" Clark, Natasha Pittman, and Honorary family member, Mike Moore, along with 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support created a nurturing environment for her loved ones, and their lives are forever enriched by her influence.
She was proceeded in death by: her husband, Andrew Ronald Clark, father, John Wesley Spurgeon, mother, Mattie Helen Liles Craig, and son, Ronald Scott Clark.
A public viewing will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce on June 2, 2025, at 12:00 pm, allowing the community to come together to celebrate her life. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Elder Bo Perrin officiating. Following the service, Christine will be laid to rest at Bruce Cemetery. Chad Rodgers, Hayes Rodgers, Ryan Rodgers, Dillon Clark, David Morgan, and Aaron Sims will serve as pallbearers. Doug Morgan, Mike Moore, Paul Hendrix, Mike King, Earl Swanson, Charles Liles, and Kyle Collins will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
As we reflect on Christine’s life, we take comfort in the fond memories and the enduring legacy she leaves behind. Her love for family, passion for her work, and dedication to holistic living will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
