Christine Annette Orr

Christine Annette Orr, 81, was born on February 19, 1943, in Hohenlinden, MS, peacefully passed away in her home on April 28, 2024, in Bruce, MS. Annette will be remembered as a devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church, She took joy in life's simple pleasures, with an unwavering love for flowers, sewing, and crafts. Annette's compassion extended beyond humanity, as she cherished her dogs and cats, lovingly cared for them, and took delight in feeding the squirrels that frequented her yard.

Those left to cherish Annette's memory are her children Teresa (Mike) Griffin of Bruce, Judy (Bill) Adams of Brandon, and Danny Gene (Donna) Orr of Bruce, along with her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Orr, Anna Orr, Michael Griffin, JR, Casey Griffin, Alyssa Griffin, and Aidan Adams. She also had ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Annette's legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of those she held dear. Her impact on those around her was immeasurable, leaving a lasting imprint that will be forever treasured.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband; Harvey Orr, parents, Casey Hendrix, Christine Hendrix, and a grandson Dillon Orr.

A public viewing to honor Annette's memory will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home on April 30, 2024, at 5:00 pm until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on May 1, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Bro. Dwight Brown officiating. Annette's final resting place will be in Pinecrest Memorial Garden with Aiden Adams, Ruben Cervantes, Jr, Wayne Doler, Casey Griffin, Michael Griffin, and Tyler Kirby serving as pallbearers.
