Christopher Frank Parker, 49, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Baptist Calhoun Hospital, Calhoun City. He was born on March 19, 1975, in Houston, MS to Robert Earl Parker and Judith Pauline McDonald Parker.
Chris was a jack of all trades. He was a mechanic, carpenter, comedian, father, friend, and so much more in one. He was a member of Grace Fellowship in Calhoun City, MS. He worked as a construction worker and at Medlift, making several friends and memories to last lifetimes. When he could, he loved to fish with his dog and loved to find cool antiques. There wasn’t a time you saw him where he didn’t at least crack one joke. Chris loved the Ole Miss Rebels and would let you know (especially if you weren’t a fan). He loved his family and friends and was loved by many. Chris or “Parker” as some knew him was definitely one of a kind, and there will never be another like him.
Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Pauline McDonald Parker, and his best friend Wade Williams.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Patricia Ann Chandler Parker to whom he married on June 21, 2003; daughter, Trista Elizabeth Parker of Bruce; sons: Dalton Ray (Adrian Bailey) Humphries, of Bruce; and Dylan Lee Chandler of Calhoun City; a special son, Dustin (Kathy) Braswell, of Fulton; brother, Jesse James (Kayla) Parker, of Maben; grandchildren: Blakelynn Lenard, Bruce and Presslynn Lenard, Bruce, and a friend Joy Jackson, of Derma.
A visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11:00A.M. until 1:00P.M. at the funeral home chapel in Vardaman. A memorial service honoring Christopher’s life will also be Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 1:00P.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. Bro. Mike Whitten will be officiating.
Those that wish may make memorial donations to help with the funeral expenses to Parker Memorial Funeral Home, P.O. Box 458, Bruce, MS 38915. The family would appreciate any help that is possible.
