Clara Sue Lofton

Clara Sue Brasher Lofton, 81 passed away July 9, 2016 at her home in Houlka surrounded by her family.
She was born October 30, 1934 in Houlka, the daughter of Alford Corinth Brasher and Donnie May Tutor Brasher.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Howard M. Lofton of Houlka; son, Ronnie Lofton of New Caney, TX; daughter, Susan Lofton Chaney (Doug) of Saltillo; daughter Tina Lofton Skyles; daughter, Teresa Lofton Akins (John Paul) and Sally Lofton West of Calhoun City. Also surviving are grandchildren Jennifer Blount Yates (J.J.), Joshua Skyles (Rita), Mitchell Akins (Nina), Jon David Blount (Dana), Courtney Hamilton Campbell (Jake), Colby Hamilton, and Caitlin Hamilton Burcham (Bryan); nine great grandchildren a host of other loved ones and a special friend Nancy Card Tunnell.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening 5:00 until 8:00 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Monday, July 11, 2016 at the funeral home in Bruce. She will be laid to rest at Collums Cemetery in Houlka.
Pallbearers will be: Mitchell Akins, Jon David Blount, Bryan Burcham, Jake Campbell, Colby Hamilton, Adam Lofton, Joshua Skyles, and John Yates.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Braylen Parker, Cole Pinkley, and Austin Yates.
