Cloris Ann Burnham, 80 of Pittsboro, Mississippi died on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Calhoun Health Services in
Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Friday, December 8, 1933 in Greenwood, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Sproles and the
late Lucy Garrard Sproles. She was the wife of the lateBro. Bill Travis McDaniel and the late Billy Keith Burnham.
She was a teacher at Calhoun Co. Schools for 37 years. where she was elected teacher of the year
She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School.
She was a member of the National Education Association. Her hobbies were sewing and gardening.
Surviving are son, Billy T(Elaine Ann)McDaniel of Wichita, KS, daughter, Faith Ann Spratlin of Jackson, MS,
brothers, Charles Sproles of Winona, MS and Johnny Sproles of Greenwood, MS, sisters, Patsy Allison of Tippo, MS
and Belinda Clolinger of Greenwood, MS. Grand Children were Jamie Spratlin, Bryant Spratlin, Meliah Cramner,
Great Grandchildren: Gabrial Spratlin, Annalise Spratlin, Avery Spratlin, and Addison Spratlin.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Rocky Mount Baptist Church with the Bro. Larry Haggard
officiating. Interment will be in Indianola cemetery, Indianola, MS. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
