Mrs. Clytee Freely, 100 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Calhoun Health Services
Nursing Home in Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, January 5, 1915, she was the daughter of the late William Vanlandingham and the late Della Dye
Vanlandingham. She was the wife of the late Malcolm Freely.
She retired from Kellwood after retiring she worked in Vardaman First Baptist Church nursery, and had her own
daycare at home keeping many children over the years.
Mrs. Clytee loved taking care of children, tending to her flowers, cooking, riding her John Deere Gator, spending time
with her family, and talking with friends on the phone.
She was a devoted member of Vardaman First Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Scott Freely and wife Sheila of Vardaman, MS, Donald Freely and wife Joan of Grenada, MS,
grand children, Michael Freely, Stephanie Case, Monica Jones, Bubba Freely, and 9 great grand children.
She was predeceased by son, Van Earl Freely, brothers, Marvin Vanlandingham, Willie Vanlandingham, Hollie
Vanlandingham, and twin brother Herbert Vanlandingham, sisters, Ludine Free, Louella Jenkins and Janie Freely.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Vardaman First Baptist Church with the Bro. Archie Goodwin
and Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Elzey Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, , Vardaman, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Carl Bryant, Cannon Caldwell, Duane Case, Keegan Case, Bubba Freely, Cole Freely, Michael
Freely, and Shannon Jones.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Vardaman First Baptist Church Nursery program, and Elzey Cemetery.
