Coleman Mann, 98, of Bruce passed away on March 1, 2024, at the State Veterans home in Oxford, MS. He was born on May 25, 1925 in Calhoun County, MS, to Richard Mann and Annie Winter Mann.
Coleman proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, and going to the Casino.
Coleman is survived by a son, Rodney Mann of Bruce, MS, a daughter, Karen (Greg) Owens, of Bruce, MS, three grandchildren, Megan Mann, Hunter Owens, and Sarah Beth (Jon Garrett) Denley, two great-grandchidren, Major Weldon and River Weldon.
Coleman is preceded in death by his wife Mauvelene Winter Mann, father, Richard Mann, mother, Annie Hardin Mann, brothers Ivan Mann, Roy Mann, Henry Mann, Ruble Mann, Robert "Bob" Mann, and Leon "Buford" Mann.
A funeral service honoring Coleman's life will be held on Sunday March 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Bruce. Bro. Kevin Chrestman and Bro. Darrell Logan will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 Sunday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home. Jon Garrett Denley, Boyd Mann, Hunter Owen, Major Weldon, River Weldon and J.J. Winter will serve as pallbearers carrying Coleman to his final resting place in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
