Cynthia Jane Williams, 65, of Okolona, passed from this life on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born on December 15, 1956, in Bruce, she was a daughter to the late William Douglas Wooten and Minnie Raye Ward Wooten.
Cynthia, better known by her friends and family as Cindy, spent many seasons of her life as a dental assistant. Aside from her career in dental hygiene, she was a small business owner that specialized in clothing. When she wasn’t filing dental records or selling merchandise she could be found traveling, especially going on cruises. Cindy also found joy in attending various types of ballgames. She attended First Baptist Church of Bruce where she learned about the many wonders of the Lord.
Those left to continue walking down the path of life in her absence include: one son Craig (Sandee) Tutor of Bruce; one daughter Emily (Shawn) Snellings of Bruce; daughter in law Lauren McDonald of Bruce; one brother John(Deanna) Wooten of Bruce; two sisters: Terry Davis of Bruce and Patty (Larry) Collins of Oxford; eight grandchildren: Ethan Snellings, Jackson Snellings, Olivia Snellings, Ashley Staten, Tori Tutor, Jace Tutor, Lily Tutor, and Mary Haire; and two great grandchildren: Baylor Smith and Corleigh Staten.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Douglas Wooten and Minnie Raye Ward Wooten and one son Jason Tutor.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service remembering her life will take place on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Cody Clements, Bro. Joey Hamilton, and Bro. Darrell Logan officiating.
Dean Brummett, Corey Collins, Chase Clements, Eric Davis, Chad Lee, Dylan Mullen, and Barrett Wooten will carry her to rest in Memory Memorial Garden.
