Dalton Hyde

Mr. Dalton Hyde, 94 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Bruce Community Living Center in Bruce, Mississippi.
Born Thursday, September 1, 1921 in Phil Campbell, Alabama, he was the son of the late Paul Hyde and the late Effie Franks Hyde. He was the husband of Ruth Hyde.
He was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority as an area Supervisor. He served as a Alderman for the City of Phil Campbell, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making flies to fish with.
He was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church. formaly a deacon of First Baptist Church Phil Campbell, AL. also participated in many church building mission trips.
Surviving are son, Rickey Hyde and wife Beverly of Bruce, MS. Grandchildren, Kimberly Joy Hyde Evans and husband Matthew, Rickey Jason Hyde, Jr., and wife Kayla, and Braden Ray Hyde, Great Grandchildren, Jason Tyler Hyde, and Caleb Jase Hyde.
He was predeceased by brothers, Grady Hyde, Daniel Hyde, Dennis Hyde, Freeman Hyde and John Hyde, sisters, Ollie Marbut, Erma Harris, Bessie Howard and Glenna Mae Cummins.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Daniel Hathorne officiating. Interment will be in Memory Memorial Garden, Bruce, MS.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Members of his adult Sunday School Class
