Daniel Cletus Miller Sr.

Daniel Cletus Miller Sr., 53, of Bruce passed from this life on December 13, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi after an extended illness. Born on April 27, 1967 in Bruce, Daniel was a son to Patricia Newsom Glover and the late Harvey Guy Miller.

Daniel spent many days of his life atop various different homes repairing and replacing shingles as a roofer. When Daniel wasn’t climbing a ladder, he could be found enjoying a multitude of sporting events and games such as baseball, softball, and marbles. Daniel also enjoyed getting his hands dirty while tending to his garden. Daniel attended Faith Chapel Church where he learned about the wonders of the Lord. Even though Daniel has departed from our lives his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones for many seasons.

Daniel leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life; one son, Daniel C. Miller II of Bruce; one daughter, Erin Dawn Miller Goodwin and husband Bradley of Bruce; two grandchildren: Ava Leigh Goodwin and Fielicity Grace Goodwin;mother, Joan Glover and husband Thomas of Bruce; one brother, Dean Miller and wife Patsy of Pontotoc; one sister, Diane Pilkington and husband Lane of Biloxi.

The family will receive friends om Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Faith Chapel Church. The funeral service celebrating Daniel's life will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of Faith Chapel Church Bro. Doug Orlando officiating. Brandon Franklin, Bradley Goodwin, Tyler Hardin, and Collin Mayo, McKennon McMillian, and Earnest Stevens will carry Daniel to rest in the Banner Cemetery.
